1. What We Collect
We only collect data necessary to provide and improve Botassium's functionality. This includes:
Account & Identity Information:
Your name and email address, and authentication tokens (if using third-party services like Google).
Workflow & Automation Data:
Flows you create within the platform, action settings (e.g., message templates, webhook URLs), and logs of flow executions (success/failure, timestamps).
Integration Data:
If you connect Botassium to WhatsApp or other third-party services, we may store configuration data needed to connect to these services (e.g., Webhook URLs, tokens) and data necessary to execute your actions (e.g., phone numbers, messages).
Note: We do not access or store the content of your WhatsApp conversations or contacts.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the core functionality of the Botassium platform
- Debug issues, improve performance, and ensure uptime
- Notify you about critical updates or service changes
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requirements
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not store your WhatsApp messages.
- We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
- We do not use your personal or automation data for profiling or AI training.
4. Third-Party Services
Botassium may connect to third-party services (e.g., WhatsApp Business API, Google Sheets, SMTP). These services are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them separately.
Botassium only uses credentials and tokens provided by you to execute your instructions. We never access these services on your behalf without your consent.
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored securely using modern encryption standards. Sensitive information (e.g., tokens) is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access to data is strictly limited to authorized staff on a need-to-know basis.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access your stored data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent to data processing

7. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the Botassium service. If your account is deleted, all associated data will be securely erased within 30 days, unless otherwise required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
Botassium is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notice. Continued use of Botassium constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data:
1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
2. Include the email address associated with your Botassium account
3. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days
What gets deleted:
- Your account and profile information
- All bots and automation flows you created
- All contacts and campaign data
- All connected app credentials and tokens
- All execution logs
Note: Some data may be retained for a limited period if required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.
If you connected Botassium via Facebook/Meta login, you can also submit a data deletion request directly through your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites.
